NOTE FROM THE COMPOSER

The astronomer, Galileo, invented the telescope, allowing the first human to view the four satellites or rings of Jupiter observe a supernova, and many other amazing sights in the stars.  Galileo wrote a treatise (Siderejus Nuncius) in 1610 which describes his astronomical discoveries.  This work sets to music much of the cover page of that treatise.  This work is written for advanced SSAA or TTBB ensembles.
