COME DWELL IN SOLOMON’S WALLS

SATB + organ (or piano) or orchestra

NOTE FROM THE COMPOSER

The building and subsequent celebration of the great temple of Solomon was none like any other before or since. This great temple survived for about 400 years and was the center of worship at that time. My vision in writing the work was to transport the performers and listeners to the opening “ceremonies” – “It is done! Now, come dwell in Solomon’s walls, come dwell in the house of the Lord; where wisdom and righteous, justice and holiness, join at the feet of God.”

“The work is ideal for celebrating the life of the church and the power that prayer can have in the life of the celebrants who attend there.” –Marie Stilts
