COMPOSER NOTES
Sara Teasdale (1884-1933), American poetess and lyricist who was born in St. Louis is one of my favorite American poets. Her major poetic themes were love, death, and nature’s beauty. In 1918, she won the Columbia University Poetry Prize (forerunner of the Pulitzer Prize).
I also wrote a solo version and is only available through purchase from this site. (Click on “Solo Voice” and follow the prompt.)
